November Local Author Day

Meet some of Delaware’s local authors who will be on hand to talk about their books, getting published and will have books for sale. This month’s lineup includes:

Shynia Baldwin
Shynia Baldwin has over 30 years of experience working in the Mental Health and Substance Abuse arena. It is through her work and personal experiences, that she has encouraged a wide range of people from all walks of life to create their own version of healthy living through education, advocacy and self-care. A. Joseph Claycomb
A. Joseph Claycomb is a children’s book author whose books: “Cute Nose Now; The Story of Brenda” was published in 2020, “Maisley’s Moon” in 2021, “Emerald’s Big Black Spider Struggle” in 2022, and soon to be published: “Summers; Childhood thoughts and Parenting Tips”; The sequel and finale to “Cute Nose Now; The Story of Brenda”. He has written all throughout college as well as numerous editorials for newspapers, etc. He is a sixty-year-old military veteran with a keen sense of humor and understanding. You’ll (and your child) will find wit, encouragement, and a connection with his books.


Aja Smith
Aja Smith is an educator, entrepreneur, former administrator, a minister of the gospel and now a writer. She holds an associate’s degree in elementary education, a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in human services with a concentration in families and communities, and is has been her lifelong passion to educate others.
