Smokey Bear Reading Challenge

Celebrate Smokey Bear’s 80th Birthday! Join Smokey in learning about wildfire prevention and the environment. Read books, take action, and have fun! And remember…only you can prevent wildfires.

How to Participate

Who: Challenge is designed for children ages 4-10, but all ages are welcome to participate

When: January 1 through November 28, 2024

How: Sign up to participate online at doverlibrary.beanstack.org or pick up a paper copy of the challenge at the Library. Once you have completed all of the activities, pick up a small prize and certificate of completion at the Kids Space Desk.
