Black History Month: Share Your Story

Black History Month celebrates the achievements and legacies of African Americans and we want your story to be heard. Write your story about activism, love, leadership, and more. You can explore the collection of stories throughout the Library that are submitted. Stories will be shared at our gallery walk on February 20 and contributors will have an opportunity to tell their story to the community.

Regardless of who you are or where you’re from, we invite you to add your story to Black History Month. We may choose to highlight your story on the Dover Public Library’s website or through it’s social media if given permission. You may also choose to remain anonymous if preferred. All stories that are submitted will be put into our gallery walk and on display throughout the month of January and February.
