What is an EduKit:
EduKits are resources meant to encourage curiosity, discovery, and hands-on learning. Each kit focuses on a different subject and includes an interactive activity, game, or toy as well as supplementary materials such as books, DVDs, or posters.
What are the Checkout Rules for the EduKit:
The EduKits are part of a walk-in collection and cannot be placed on hold. Patrons are allowed to checkout one kit per library card. Kits may be checked out for one week at a time. Should the kits be returned late, the patron will be charged $1.00 per day. EduKits cannot be renewed. Search the catalog to see which kits are currently available.
What Happens if Something is Missing:
If the kit is missing pieces, the last borrower will be contacted in an effort to retrieve the missing parts. If the parts can’t be located, the patron may be charged a replacement fee. Replacement fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
